To operate the product, you will need a compatible Zigbee gateway or hub. For example, with the Nous E1 gateway and the Nous Smart Home app, you can easily control the valve controller.
Easy Installation
The device is simple to install — just mount it on the pipe connected to the ball valve, and the controller’s arm mechanism will open and close the valve as needed. In addition to remote control, the physical button on the device allows for manual operation as well. This makes it an ideal solution for both home and industrial environments, ensuring that water and gas lines can be safely shut off when necessary.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the water or gas pipe/valve.
- Place the controller above the valve, ensuring the controller shaft is directly aligned with the axis of the valve handle.
- Tighten the screws at both ends of the mounting bracket. Ensure the valve controller shaft is aligned with the valve’s central axis; otherwise, the valve may not fully open or close.
- Manually pull down the clutch ring to check if the valve opens and closes correctly.
- Connect the device to the power source.
Useful Tips
- In case of a power outage: The valve can still be manually opened or closed after installation. Simply pull down the safety clutch located at the bottom of the smart device, and the valve can be operated manually.
- Maintenance advice: To prevent the valve from getting stuck over time, we recommend scheduling a simple open-close sequence a few times each month.
