Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 multiprotocol (Wi-Fi+ Bluetooth / Zigbee 3.0) relay module, Matter compatible

20,50  incl. VAT 24%

Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 is the first Matter-compatible, multi-protocol retrofit MINI relay module from Shelly. It supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols (with Shelly’s cloud or as local smart home solution), as well as Zigbee 3.0, so it can be paired with a range of Zigbee 3.0-compatible hubs. Shelly 1 MINI Gen4 both supports dry contact and wet contact switching. The Mini version is 8A and is recommended for installation behind light switches.

Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is the latest fourth-generation version of Shelly’s 1-gang smart relay. Like its predecessor, it supports switching up to 8A and allows dry contact switching, since the controlled circuit remains electrically independent from the power supply used to operate the relay. This model does not include power metering functionality.

As with all Shelly devices, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 can connect directly to your Wi-Fi router — no need for a hub, gateway, or local bridge — and comes with native Matter compatibility.

Shelly GEN4 devices also offer an alternative operation mode, which must be selected before pairing. In this mode, the device can communicate via Zigbee and be paired with a Zigbee gateway or coordinator.

Whether used in Wi-Fi or Zigbee mode, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is ideal for automating a lamp or any electrical appliance and can be part of a full smart home system—perfect for home renovations. It’s one of the most compact Wi-Fi/Zigbee-enabled devices available for smart switching and is small enough to fit behind standard wall switches or inside junction boxes, even in retrofit installations.

Once installed behind your existing wall switch, you can control your lighting or other connected appliances remotely while still using the physical switches. That makes it perfect for retrofitting existing systems to make them smart. It works with single-button switches and is not recommended for controlling power outlets due to its 8A current limit.

The relay includes a switch input, so you can continue using the physical wall switch, while also controlling the light or appliance via Wi-Fi.

You can configure automatic on/off timers as well. The app also allows you to disable the wall switch function entirely—useful in children’s rooms.

The Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is compatible with toggle and momentary (puch button) switches and supports two-way configurations. The auto-off feature allows it to operate in momentary switching mode as well.

Dry Contact Switching – As with the previous generation, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 supports dry contact switching. It can switch up to 8A at 240V AC or 5A at 30V DC, making it suitable for potential-free applications such as garage doors, gate openers, or irrigation systems. It can also switch 12V or 24V DC/AC circuits.

Important: The device requires both live and neutral wires to operate. The switched phase from the wall switch must be in the same phase angle as the input phase—this product is not suitable for multi-phase installations.

Richard McClintock, a Latin scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, is credited with discovering the source behind the ubiquitous filler text. In seeing a sample of lorem ipsum, his interest was piqued by consectetur—a genuine, albeit rare, Latin word. Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum On the Extremes of Good and Evil, a first-century B.C. text from the Roman.

Carried only by professionals

So when is it okay to use lorem ipsum? First, lorem ipsum works well for staging. It’s like the props in a furniture store—filler text makes it look like someone is home. The same Wordpress template might eventually be home to a fitness blog, a photography website, or the online journal of a cupcake fanatic. Lorem ipsum helps them imagine what the lived-in website might look like.
