SmartWise B6 UNI smart wall switch product family comes with Wi-Fi and physical push-button front panel. This new product now features a chip supporting Wi-Fi + Bluetooth connections (instead of the previously typical Wi-Fi + RF 433MHz). The smart wall switch is connected directly to the Wi-Fi router with the eWeLink app running on the smartphone, so it connects to the same eWeLink smart home platform as Sonoff devices and they do not need a local central unit as they work by default with the eWeLink cloud.

Its Bluetooth module supports quick and easy pairing with the phone and the Wi-Fi network, and its eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) protocol receiver can be paired with wireless SmartWise Bluetooth switches and wireless switches, to be used as wireless 2-way switches.

The SmartWise B6 smart light switch is available in 1, 2, 3 gang (button) versions. Also available with white, grey, black and gold push button front panel.

The switch family is also available in a stylish white and black glass front-panel touch-switch version called SmartWise T6, with the same smart features as the physical push-button model.

Wiring

The UNI version of SmartWise smart wall switches support universal wiring: recommended for live + neutral wire, but is also supporting single live wire (no neutral) wiring, so it can be used in any places to replace any traditional wall switches. When wired without neutral, it is recommended for switching lights only, and is compatible with tungsten, LED and CFL. For wiring with live wire only, a small anti-flicker module (included in the product box) must be connected to the lamp.

Smart Home platform

Just like Sonoff’s smart switches, they connect to the cloud-based eWeLink app and platform by default, so it works together very well with other brands of the eWeLink app, Sonoff, SmartWise, KingArt, WDYK and Woolley.

It has a quality hardware, and there is no need for a local central unit to operate, as all devices access the factory eWeLink cloud via the internet connection of the Wi-Fi router.

If you want to use it with a local central unit rather than in cloud mode, you can also use the affordable SONOFF iHost central unit. Instead of the cloud eWeLink platform, it can run a local eWeLink platform (eWeLink Cube) without internet connectivity, but it is also capable of running other open source home automation platforms (Home Assistant, NodeRED, etc.)

But you can also use it with the Home Assistant Green hub running the Home Assistant open source platform, since the HA platform also offers integrations to locally interface with Sonoff and other eWeLink devices.

Local control

It has a physical push-button front panel, which allows you to switch the lights on the wall switch as naturally as you would with a traditional switch.

Local remote control

Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth chip, SmartWise wall switches can be remotely controlled with eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) wireless switches and remote controllers. These can be used to create a wireless wall-mounted 2-way switching. 2-gang and 3-gang versions: each button on the switch can be individually paired with SmartWise eWeLink-Remote wireless switches and remote controls, each gang/button can be paired with different wireless switches as needed. Note: it is not compatible with Sonoff (R5, S-MATE (R2), etc.) eWeLink-Remote switches/modules.

Functions:

Using an iOS (Apple) or Android smart phone, the smart switch is connected to the Wi-Fi router using the eWeLink APP to connect to the internet. In the APP, you can check the ON/OFF status of the switch at any time, remotely turn the light switch on/off, and set a scheduled on/off. There is also an inching (auto-off) function in the switch, as in most other Sonoff and SmartWise devices, so we can set it to automatically turn off after a set time after being turned on, so that we don’t leave the lights on unnecessarily. The remote control in the app can also be shared with others, such as family members or colleagues in an office.

It’s an ideal solution for smart control of any lamp or lighting.

Used as a crime prevention solution, it can be programmed to presence simulation, so to turn on or off on the light by timer, so that the outside world thinks you are at home.

And, of course, you can create any other automation (scene) between your eWeLink devices – be they Wi-Fi, Zigbee or even RF – based on sensor data or the status of other devices.

The two- and three-circuit switch versions can be set in the app to interlock mode, in which one circuit switches off when the other circuits are switched on, so that they can be used safely for e.g. shutter control or to operate any motor.

Richard McClintock, a Latin scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, is credited with discovering the source behind the ubiquitous filler text. In seeing a sample of lorem ipsum, his interest was piqued by consectetur—a genuine, albeit rare, Latin word. Consulting a Latin dictionary led McClintock to a passage from De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum On the Extremes of Good and Evil, a first-century B.C. text from the Roman.

Carried only by professionals

So when is it okay to use lorem ipsum? First, lorem ipsum works well for staging. It’s like the props in a furniture store—filler text makes it look like someone is home. The same Wordpress template might eventually be home to a fitness blog, a photography website, or the online journal of a cupcake fanatic. Lorem ipsum helps them imagine what the lived-in website might look like.
