Sonoff MINI-RBS Smart Roller Blind Module – Matter-Compatible Controller for Motorized Shades
The Sonoff MINI-RBS is ideal for users who want to upgrade their existing motorized blinds or shade motors with smart control features. It offers bidirectional (up/down) control, step-based adjustment, and percentage-based position management. Its compact size (33 x 39.5 x 16.8 mm) allows for easy installation behind wall switches or inside junction boxes. It supports a wide variety of shading types—ideal for curtain control, roller blinds, awnings, or even motorized projector screens in home theaters. When controlling blinds or shades, the module helps maintain optimal light and temperature conditions, for example, by lowering the blinds during summer heat. Thanks to its calibration function, users can precisely control the position of shades with percentage accuracy.
A standout feature is its compact design—it fits into standard 80 mm EU wall boxes. The Sonoff MINI-RBS is significantly smaller than the previous Sonoff Dual R3 module, making it easier to install behind wall switches.
The mini module supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth and is not only compatible with Sonoff’s eWeLink app but also integrates seamlessly with platforms like Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant via the Matter smart home standard, enabling compatibility with virtually any smart home ecosystem.
When used with the eWeLink app and cloud platform, the module’s built-in eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) gateway supports pairing with Sonoff’s wireless R5 switches (available in white and gray) and the S-MATE2 Bluetooth module. This allows for control via both wired push-button switches and wireless ones.
