Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer is designed to control 0-10V dimming controllers. The 0-10V DC output of the device can be connected to control electronics that have a 0-10V regulation input.
Output: 0-10V DC; 0,35 Watt !!! For CONTROLLING DIMMING CONTROLLERS ONLY, not lights!
Typically used for light sources, variable speed motors or adjustable valves (air handling). However, it is important to note that it cannot be directly connected to the Shelly PLUS 0-10V Dimmer module, the 0-10V output can only be connected to the control electronics input. It is supplied with SW1 and SW2 series switches to allow wall switch or push button control. Power supply is 230V AC, phase and neutral conductors are required for operation.
Like all other Shelly products, it connects directly to the WiFi router, no local control panel, hub or bridge is needed to control the smart home. It can be installed as a standalone system, with only 1 device, or as a complete system for a smart home in an existing or new build or renovation project. By installing a Shelly PLUS 0-10V Dimmer behind existing switches in the wall socket, you can control the output while retaining your existing switches, making the product ideal for retrofit “smarting”.
The Shelly PLUS 0-10V Dimmer – like other small Shelly smart relays – includes switch inputs, meaning that when installed behind light switches you can still use the wall switch to control the circuit being controlled, but you can also control remotely via WiFi and have a range of timers at your disposal. The Shelly app also has the option to disable the switch – useful for small children in some rooms – with these settings the device can only be controlled from the app.
It’s one of the smallest WiFi devices for smart control of switches and smart metering. Its tiny size allows you to conveniently install it behind a standard light switch in a wall socket or in a junction box, even afterwards, and remotely control your lighting or other appliances below 8A and track their on/off status.
GATEWAY FUNCTIONS:
Thanks to the ESP32 chip, the device supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols. It also includes a Bluetooth gateway, it can also act as a Bluetooth receiver / gateway for Shelly’s new generation Bluetooth sensors and Bluetooth remote control. It also includes a Wi-Fi repeater function, which, when enabled, transmits a Wi-Fi signal to remotely installed Shelly devices – a kind of Wi-Fi mesh.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING:
Pairing with your phone is simple and fast, using Bluetooth, just like other second-generation Shelly Plus and Pro devices.
MORE POWERFUL PROCESSOR, MORE FEATURES:
The Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer also features the ESP32 processor familiar from the PLUS products, with a faster and more powerful CPU and twice as much memory, offering enhanced features and faster operation for the PLUS product line.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION:
The Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer is equipped with overheat protection, ensuring even safer operation in small spaces, even when mounted in wall sockets.
SHELLY PLUS FEATURES:
Product:
Supports HTTP/HTTPS webhooks so enhanced Shelly Plus products can easily connect, notify or control compatible products or other automation systems
Support for sunrise/sunset timed on/off, now with +/-23 hour offset,
can handle up to 20 timers (stored on the device and working offline),
supports mjS scripts, allowing customers to create their own functions and features! Shelly Plus line devices allow multiple scripts to be executed simultaneously, depending on different triggers such as input/output status, sensor data or WLAN requests.
Timeliness:
Off/on timing can be set for days of the week, and
support for sunrise and sunset timings (not only for exact time, but also for sunset + 5 hours type timings.)
It also supports auto-off and auto-on timing, i.e. on/off after a fixed time off or on.
Supported modes:
Cloud / cloud mode: then connects to the free Shelly Cloud, which can be used to control and configure devices from the Shelly Cloud smartphone app (available for iOS and Android) and from https://home.shelly.cloud/
LAN / local network mode, in which case devices can only be controlled from devices connected to the local network
you can also operate the device (instead of WiFi client mode) in WiFi Access Point mode (e.g. if there is no permanent WiFi network at the installation site), in which case you can connect a mobile phone or notebook near the device directly to the WiFi AC network broadcast by the device and control the device during the connection.
Consumption data is saved to the Shelly Cloud account when the smart device is in cloud mode, and you can view and download consumption history in the app.
In Cloud mode, Shelly devices can also control each other (under complex conditions) using the Shelly Cloud Scene (for example, a Shelly relay mounted behind a light switch can turn on/off another Shelly relay behind an outlet that is independent of the Shelly relay from the wiring point on the cloud, and turn it on/off from the cloud, i.e. devices can control each other simply by using WIFi and the factory cloud without wires, according to rules we specify.)
It is also possible to control each other directly with HTTP commands (DDD, Direct Device-to-Device) (even without using Shelly Cloud, even in LAN mode), when using fixed IP addresses, i.e. Shelly devices can also turn each other off/on on the local network in case of external internet disconnection (or disabling on the firewall), using so-called Actions that can be configured in the Shelly App.
For the Shelly PLUS 0-10 V Dimmer smart control, the manufacturer’s own NEW smartphone app and its own Cloud service are also available for free.
Integrations:
Even with its factory firmware, the Shelly is one of the easiest smart devices on the market to integrate. It supports MQTT and control via REST API. Compatible with Google Home, Amazon Echo and Yandey Alice voice control. Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer supports both Cloud and MQTT control simultaneously.
Many Shelly devices are already integrated with the SmartThings platform via Shelly Cloud.
In addition, the factory firmware supports a range of other open source and other systems:
MQTT
HomeSeer
ioBroker
Home Assistant
openHAB
Domoticz
SYMCAN
nymea
Hubitat
Hoobs
REST API
Mounting options:
Thanks to its small size, it can fit into the smallest wall socket, typically behind the fittings.
Other technical parameters:
Operating voltage: 110-230V AC ±10%.
Output: 0-10V DC; 0,35 Watt !!!! ONLY FOR USE, cannot be directly loaded by the consumer !
Like other smart relays, this one requires not only a phase conductor but also a neutral conductor.
